About Aditi
I'm a biomedical engineer. I've been working as a private tutor since a year. I teach various subjects including mathematics, science, history, geography, Hindi, Marathi, English, computer science and information technology to middle school and high school students. I have an amazing knack of making learning fun and interesting.

My approach to teaching is example and activity driven. I teach concepts using real life examples. I also make my students to perform simple activities that lead to better understanding. For instance, if I want to illustrate what the circumference of a circle stands for and why we need to calculate it, I'll ask my students to cut a circular cardboard and mark a point on the circle and use a measuring tape to determine the circumference. Then I'll ask them to imagine the circular cardboard as a wheel and ask them to determine how much distance the wheel will travel when it makes a particular number of turns. I teach them basics and encourage them to decode complexity of problems on their own. I very strongly believe that when students are given a chance to try things on their own, not only do their logical and reasoning skills develop but the teacher gets a chance to understand the student's way of thinking. When I understand the student's way of thinking, I can help him/her better by making him/her understand why his/her way of thinking is right or wrong and how he/she can develop alternate and easier ways of thinking. I believe my job doesn't end when I have taught what I'm supposed to teach. My job is to ensure that the student has a wholesome learning experience and leaves the class satisfied and enlightened.
