As a current sixth grade math and science teacher with experience teaching second grade, I use research-based, student-centered instruction to make learning clear, engaging, and confidence-building. My tutoring sessions are structured yet flexible, beginning with a quick check-in to identify strengths and gaps, followed by targeted instruction using visuals, real-world examples, and guided practice, and ending with independent practice and goal setting. What sets me apart is my ability to bridge elementary foundations with middle school expectations, ensuring students truly understand concepts rather than memorize steps. Supported by a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, I tailor each lesson to meet individual learning needs and help students build strong foundational skills. My lessons are ideal for elementary and middle school students, particularly grades 2–6, who need extra support, confidence building, or preparation for academic growth and success.
