About Kathryn
I am a PhD candidate in Chemistry. My previous private tutoring experience was primary school maths and year 12 Chemistry. I also have 5 years experience as a chemistry laboratory class demonstrator and tutor for undergraduate students at university.

The way I teach depends on the needs of the student. I ask questions to understand the students level of understanding and then guide them through things they find difficult to develop their understanding and problem-solving skills. I like to equips students to be able to learn by themselves. Most of my work would is around content from their course. I can give extra material to help develop areas of weakness, or to push students further in their areas of strength.
