About Nick
I am currently working for Teach First studying towards a PGDE at a school in Lewisham. I am straight out of university where I received a first class history degree from the University of Bristol and despite being extremely young, I have done a vast amount of tutoring with all my pupils having received at least a 7. I am particularly apt at more challenging students which I have learnt to deal with in my day-to-day life at school.
My maths teaching style is engaging and thorough. Through an exemplary knowledge of pedagogy, I attempt and largely succeed in making maths fun using concrete examples from regular life.
I also have a vast knowledge of maths syllabus particularly KS3, KS4 and am adept at teaching SEND pupils.
I am laid back and relaxed and understand that setting vast amounts of homework rarely succeeds.
