About Ailisha
I have teaching , lecturing and tutoring experience in Maths, English, Communication and Journalism . Currently online tutoring in English and Maths.
Academically I am preparing a PhD proposal for a Classical Greek topic. I have a History MA Hons and a Certificate in Christian and Religious Studies.
Due to my role as a nurse and a volunteer roles as a child’s befriender, a panel member of the children’s hearings board and a school mentor: I have 4 DBS disclosures.

My teaching method is holistic and scholastic ; I base my teaching material on the national curriculum requirements and always endeavour to challenge those learners that are receptive to it. Always enquire whether the topics are enjoyable and if their is a preference for a subject : I will adapt that to the national curriculum . As a consequence the learners are engaged and enthusiastic about learning . I believe learning should be made enjoyable as it stimulates the desire to learn.
