About Derek
I’ve taught at private music schools, conservatories, music shops, and done house calls throughout my career. I’ve also implemented after-school band jam programs, now known as “School of Rock!”
By actively performing jazz piano in New Orleans, I bring current, real-world musicianship into every lesson.
