About Yuxin
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison (top1 edu school) with a major in Education and later earned my Master’s degree at UCLA (No.1 MSBA program).
I have over 3 years of experience in remote bilingual (Chinese–English) teaching, working mainly with elementary-age students. I’ve taught more than 10 children aged 3–9 and specialize in creating engaging, structured online lessons using visuals, stories, and interactive activities. I’m patient, encouraging, and highly adaptable, with strong experience supporting young learners in remote learning environments.

My Chinese speaking lessons are designed to be encouraging, interactive, and highly personalized, especially for young children and adult beginners. With an education background and over 3 years of remote bilingual teaching experience, I focus on building confidence and long-term interest in language learning.
Listening & Speaking:
I use stories, images, role-play, and daily-life scenarios to help students understand natural spoken Chinese and practice speaking in a low-pressure, supportive environment.
Reading & Writing:
For children, I introduce characters gradually through visuals and games. For adults, I focus on practical reading, pronunciation, and simple sentence writing aligned with real-life use.
Typical 1-hour online lesson:
Warm-up conversation → focused skill practice (listening/speaking or reading/writing) → interactive activity → review and positive feedback.
For children (ages 3–9):
Lessons focus on listening and speaking through stories, visuals, songs, and role-play. I use games and repetition to help young learners build pronunciation, basic vocabulary, and confidence in a joyful, pressure-free way.
For adults:
Lessons are practical and conversation-focused. I help adult learners improve real-life speaking skills for travel, daily communication, or cultural interest. Classes emphasize pronunciation, sentence patterns, and useful vocabulary, with clear explanations and plenty of guided speaking practice.
My lessons are suitable for children (ages 3–9) and adults, and I strongly believe encouragement and patience are the foundation of effective education.
