About Bethan
About Me!
I am a qualified teacher with thousands of hours of teaching, tutoring, and mentoring under my belt. I have recently branched out into the world of online teaching.
I currently teach English but have an array of teaching experience teaching, ranging from essay writing to roundhouse kicks.
Qualifications
I attended the University of Oxford and graduated with a BA in English Language and Literature. I also completed a PGCert with the University of Oxford.
To further my ability to support students with mental health issues I have also completed several courses focused on topics such as self-harm and anorexia.
I have a second dan in Shito-Ryu Shukokai and have competed at a national level.
What makes me a good choice of tutor for you or your young person?
I have taught a variety of students all with their own ability and backgrounds. In particular I have taught students with pronounced learning difficulties and am adept at creating strategies that help empower them to achieve their goals.
I believe that learning is a key to success, and I believe that through teaching and tutoring I can not only give them the key, but also give them the power to use it.
