About House wife life

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science. Although my studies were more on analytical engineering aspects, my passion lies in education. For years now, I have been tutoring K-12 pupils in different curricula since 2018.

The reason why I decided to become a tutor was witnessing how children felt frustrated about learning such complex biological concepts. My aim was to show that with patience, systematic, and supportive approaches, all the students can cope with difficult courses, such as Genetics and Anatomy without being scared. I see all my students as unique individuals and make sure that each one feels emotionally comfortable and competent.

Besides teaching, I enjoy expressing myself through hobbies. Cooking, knitting, taking walks, DIY decor, singing, watching Hollywood and Bollywood movies are just some of them.

This positive attitude accompanies me throughout all lessons. It would be great to meet your child!

About the lesson

Hello! I'm Jayshri. My teaching approach is built on a unique foundation: I use my Computer Science engineering background to make K-12 Biology highly logical and completely stress-free.

Since 2018, I have helped students master Anatomy, Cellular Biology, Genetics, and Botany. Instead of forcing young minds to blindly memorize heavy textbooks, I teach biology like a fascinating, interconnected system. We break down Genetics like exciting biological code, and use visual storytelling to map out Cellular Biology and human Anatomy! I also use tools such as Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Google NotebookLM, Gizmo, and utilize proper learning resources to make sure no student is left out!

My Methodology & Lesson Outline:

My classroom is a highly patient, warm, and judgment-free zone where mistakes are celebrated. We meet online for 50 to 60-minute sessions:

Step 1: A gentle warm-up to ease any science anxiety.

Step 2: Colorful, visual breakdowns of the day's topic (e.g., drawing plant cells).

Step 3: Interactive, step-by-step practice at your child's natural pace.

Step 4: A calm review to build true confidence.

I welcome K-12 students of all levels. Let's make biology simple and joyful!
