I spent two years working at Kumon and learning from their lesson plans and structuring strategies. I also was able to raise one student's ACT math score by 5 points from just two sessions the week before! My mother was a teacher for 12 years and from her I learned the importance of tailoring lessons to a student's strengths and weaknesses, as well as the value in repeated practice to ingrain concepts until they're exhibited with ease by the student.
