About Jack
I am a second year at the University of Arizona Honors college, planning to transfer to USC. I have a 3.9 GPA and am a part of the school paper. Along with that, I am a tutor on campus for college students as well.

As a tutor, my teaching method combines discussions and constructive feedback. I tailor lessons to individual needs going over rubrics for essays and writing assignments. A typical lesson plan includes an initial assessment of the student's strengths and areas for improvement. We then delve into targeted topics, strategies to incorporate, which reinforce concepts. What sets me apart is my experience as a journalism major. This aids in incorporating real-world applications of a student’s writing into their daily English. I prioritize cultivating critical thinking and effective communication skills. I tutor grades 7th to 10th.
