About Henna
I have been in K-12 Education for more than 6 years as a Classroom Teacher and as a Substitute Teacher.
-I like working with kids and specially those who are trying to help themselves but need that little nudge to succeed.
-I also have had success with special needs kids who may be trying to maneuver learning with others while battling dyslexia or ADHD. I like working in small bite size lessons combined with fun learning.
-My Bilingual abilities lie in speaking Hindi & Urdu languages.
-Parents and students in past appreciate my ability to create interest and participation by adding unconventional, fun hands-on learning styles.

Looking for just that little nudge? I can help you with that, as lifelong educator and mentor, I love to work with Elementary age kids right from Preschool to Fifth grade.
I’m also available for after school or weekends to help with homework or extra practice.
I begin with basics, work on building a strong foundation and then back up with lots of examples and practice. This teaching strategy has proven to improve student's confidence and increase abilities at mastering the subject.
