About Montana
I went to college to be a teacher, and since I was a child I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I went to school and earned a degree in elementary education, yet I always find my heart pulling me back to math. I have subbed for high school students and found joy in helping them with their math homework. I love the outdoors, animals, baking, and spending time with my family. I have two adorable dogs!
As a teacher I believe that everyone has the ability to learn anything, often time the hard part is finding the best way to learn. I enjoy finding out how my students, from preschoolers to high schoolers to my adult friends, learn best so I can support them!

I love math! I will fully admit that I am a nerd about math. But I also believe that those who say they hate math it is because they didn't have good math teachers! Throughout college I enjoyed learning how to teach math in a variety of ways, I was an unofficial tutor for a group of classmates when we all took a geometry class where the teacher was simply not good at teaching math. I love finding creative ways to make things make sense! If I work with you I will find out what you want to learn and how you learn best. Based on that I will determine how to best support you. We will work together giving each other feedback frequently.
