About Caroline
My experiences as a special educator help me understand each student has a personal, unique way of learning. One focus throughout my education career has been to learn, and actively improve upon, differentiating methods of planning, and instruction to meet each learner at their own unique level. Over the past 5 years in the classroom, I've helped students achieve up to a 10% improvement across math, reading, writing, grammar, phonics and science. I am certified in Orton-Gillingham and Fundations/Wilson phonics programs, and am familiar with a variety of curricula and edTech programs for remote instruction. My goal as an educator is to help learners succeed not only academically, but also socially, and emotionally.
