Welcome families!
My name is Ms. Dee. I have been a tutor for over 15 years and teaching early elementary for 13 years.
I have a B.S. in early childhood education with a minor in sociology and a M.Ed in teaching, learning, and advocacy.

Reading can be a challenge for many students. With the curriculum I use (that is backed by the science of reading research), I will help students learn the foundations to become fluent readers.
A typical lesson includes going over letters, letter sounds, segmenting and blending words, and learning sight words.
I service students who are struggling with the foundational reading skills, like identifying letters and their sound, sight words, and fluency.
