About Mike
I’ve been an elementary math teacher for 20 years. I’ve also coached football and basketball at the middle school level. I believe all kids are math kids, and it is always my goal for kids to see themselves as mathematicians!

I use a repeated practice approach so students build their skills by building off what they already know to attach new material. Chapter math doesn’t work for kids, and my approach goes against math by chapters. I use a skills based approach so students develop tools to take on any math challenge.
