About Abby
Hi, I’m Abby! I earned my degree in Elementary Education and have hands-on experience helping kids learn and grow both inside and outside the classroom. I’ve worked as a swim coach, camp counselor, lifeguard, and Disney College Program character attendant, so I know how to keep lessons fun, engaging, and tailored to each child’s personality and learning style. My tutoring sessions focus on reading, writing, math, and study skills, and I always combine structure with creativity to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. I’ve also held leadership roles in student organizations and volunteered extensively, which has given me experience in supporting, motivating, and inspiring young learners from all backgrounds. I’m passionate about helping students gain confidence, build strong academic foundations, and feel proud of their progress. Every child learns differently, so I adapt my approach to each student’s strengths and needs—while keeping the atmosphere positive, encouraging, and even a little playful.
