About Zaid Ahmad
I am a University of Nottingham Scholar and an Electrical Engineer. I am an International student and I am being awarded a Scholars award for studying at The University of Nottingham for my excellent academic performances and extracurricular activities. I always had a keen interest and passion for teaching and I have previously also tutored students for preparing for their GCSE exams, A-Level exams, and some other professional entrance exams as well.

I believe that relating any concept with concrete physical phenomena is important as it drastically improves the understanding by making it possible for the student to visually realize things and connect abstract phenomena with reality.
I usually first present a problem and let the student take some educated guesses for a possible solution. Then I proceed to present the phenomenon to be taught as the solution to the given problem. I have previously used this methodology and it has been quite effective. It makes the student connect the phenomena to real-life situations and appreciate the usefulness of science instead of treating it as an abstract theory.
