About Peter
I am a graduate from McMaster University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and I am currently working towards my P. Eng. I have 12 years of experience working as a private tutor and I have really enjoyed the opportunity to share my knowledge of math and science with my students. Both my parents are teachers, so I guess it's in my blood.

I offer sessions online and in person. I typically tutor students at the high school and undergraduate levels, but I also have experience working with students in grades 2-8.
From my experience, I have found that there is nothing such as a one size fits all approach to tutoring. My approach changes based on a student's age, needs, learning style, and preferences. Generally speaking, I first establish what areas a student is struggling with or has gaps in. Then, I focus on these areas to ensure that they understand the core concepts well enough to start practicing on their own. I believe the one-on-one support is a key aspect of why many of my students are successful. My tutoring sessions give students an opportunity to ask questions, make mistakes, and ultimately learn from those mistakes to better understand the material.

I have only been to a couple sessions with Peter and have already noticed an increase in my understanding of math. He is very patient and takes the time to make sure I understand every question.
Peter is an awesome teacher and is always up to help you. He’s extremely kind and respectful and always finds a way to help me make sense of my math. He wants you to succeed and is an extremely genuine person. Peter has helped me throughout highschool and has helped me become the honour role student I have always wanted to be.
Peter is an amazing tutor. He has tutored me for my grade 11 and grade 12 year for math and calculus. He has helped me immensely with understanding concepts and helping me with homework.
