About Lucy
I am an extremely passionate musician based in Cardiff. I began my musical journey over a decade ago with the piano, and I have continued to expand my musical horizons ever since, having taught myself several instruments over the years! I firmly believe that enjoyment and passion are the ultimate goal with an instrument, an ethos I carry with me from my own piano teacher, who was a huge inspiration to me. I hope I can be that person for somebody else someday!

I approach teaching as a means to nurture a passion for guitar, and music as a whole, by focusing on each student's own goals and inspirations to create a tailored learning experience for every student.
For beginners, I will ensure all basic elements of playing (strumming, fretting, chords etc.) are covered before moving to anything further. Ideally, by this point, students will have some idea of the direction in which they wish to play, however I will always be ready with suggestions at any point regardless.
I am a self-taught guitarist of 3+ years, but have previously achieved Grade 8 Piano and Grade 5 Music Theory qualifications (ABRSM), having started piano over 10 years ago.
Lessons typically range from 30-60 minutes. Whilst lessons are available to any student, they are aimed at beginner/intermediate level guitarists of any age.
