About Dimitrios
I am a professional guitar player, composer and tutor. I have been playing the guitar for more than 30 years and teaching 20 out of them. In my long years as a student I studied both electric and classical guitar. My electric guitar studies consist of jazz-fusion theory, harmony and performance. In my classical side I studied theory, harmony, counterpoint, fugue and composition, studying under Mr Costas Cotsiolis, who in his turn was a student of Segovia. I have been tutoring both in private sessions and in music schools as well, covering all ages of students. As a session guitarist I participated in numerous bands and music groups, performing in TV shows, theatres and music venues. Genres covering are jazz, fusion, pop, rock, hard rock and metal, also classical guitar repertoire from Bach to Sor to Britten.

As a tutor I follow the approach and the teaching material of Berklee, Musicians Institute, and London College of Music. Every lesson is tailored around each individual student's needs and abilities, there's no "one size fits all" in my teaching style. Each lesson usually lasts around 60 minutes. For minors I recommend 30-45 minutes lessons, depending on their age and ability.
