About Sera
Music is a wonderful way to express creativity, and I enjoy helping students experience that through guitar. I have 8 years of experience teaching guitar to high school students, college learners, and adults, and I have successfully trained around 300 students.
My teaching philosophy focuses on simplicity, patience, and encouragement. I believe that anyone can learn guitar with the right guidance and regular practice. In my lessons, I focus on developing strong fundamentals such as basic chords, rhythm exercises, strumming patterns, finger movements, and simple music theory.
These skills help students play with confidence and understand music better. I also encourage students to learn songs they enjoy, which keeps them motivated and interested in practising. Teaching many students has helped me understand different learning speeds and adapt my lessons accordingly.
Many of my students have grown confident enough to perform at school programmes and college functions, which is always rewarding to see. My goal is to help students develop strong guitar skills and a lasting passion for music.

My Guitar teaching methodology focuses on combining technical learning with practical application. I begin by understanding the student’s experience level and learning style so that lessons can be adapted to their needs. Students first learn fundamental Guitar techniques such as chord shapes, rhythm patterns, strumming methods, scales, and finger exercises.
These skills help build a strong base for playing the instrument. I explain each concept clearly and guide students through exercises and song practice. I also use real-life musical examples from songs and performances so students can understand how Guitar techniques are used in real music.
In addition to Guitar lessons, I introduce related subjects such as music theory basics, ear training, rhythm development, improvisation basics, and songwriting. These subjects help students develop deeper musical understanding. My goal is to help students grow into confident and skilled Guitar players.
