Provides tutoring to increase skill acquisition to kiddos elementary ages through high school with mild or moderate developmental disabilities, communication deficits, and behavioral needs. I tailor tutoring to each individual based on their learning needs. This may include added visual supports, breaking down content, prompting, modeling, and other learning aids. Will incorporate reward systems to increase motivation and on-task behaviors, which will result in higher skill acquisition. I try to build a good rapport with the individual based on their preferred interests. Teaching methods are based on applied behavior analysis to increase learning behaviors. I have a Master's degree in education and 10 years experience working with individuals with disabilities. I have 8 years experience assisting an educational department with students disabilities and behavioral needs.
