About Stanisław
For over a year now I've been giving maths lessons to students at levels ranging from primary school to A-levels, though I feel most confident in teaching at the GCSE level. Currently, I am doing my master's course in Geochemistry at St Andrews. I studied Geography for my undergrad degree at Durham. I'm originally from Poland where I passed my A-level equivalents scoring high in geography (percentile 100%) and maths (percentile 93%). I've always been decent at maths and enjoyed helping friends and my siblings. I regularly use my maths skills throughout my degree. Personally, I like reading and travelling which takes up the majority of my time outside uni.

All my classes are adjusted to your needs. Preparing for an exam? Struggling with homework? Need help with a particular topic or general maths practice? I will always make sure my classes are effective and tailored to your case. In my first class, I usually try to assess student's strengths and weaknesses and based on them as well as their aims and needs design subsequent classes. I am ready to set and check homework or provide practice questions, so as to maximise your learning, though sometimes skip this part if a student is not willing/has no time to make an effort outside our meetings. I usually start a class with a quick homework check and a quick theory introduction/refresher then proceed straight to solving maths problems. I offer flexible hours. Hit me up for more details.

Perfect! Stanisław is a incredibly talented tutor he has a great way of explaining math in general in a very accurate way and he always makes sure that everything is understood before moving onto the next topic, if you do not understand something he always makes sure to repeat himself and try and explain it in a way you can understand. He is also very enthusiastic while teaching which makes it very easy to understand and ask more questions.
