About Sebastian
I am an energetic and engaged calculus and physics tutor who has been helping students excel since I myself was in college. I began tutoring by helping my classmates and friends with their math and physics homework. I then took my passion to an after school study program on campus where I worked as a part time tutor for engineering courses. This was back in 2014, and since then I have graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University. I have since been assisting, coaching, and guiding various students from different backgrounds to success in their math and science courses. I now own CourseBin LLC, an online tutoring company servicing students in my local neighborhood in Trumbull CT, as well as remote students. Allow me to lend a helping hand!

I love to tutor Calculus and Physics as well as many areas of Mathematics and engineering courses. When it comes to mechanical engineering, I've tutored students in virtually all of the related subjects. The bulk of my engineering experience focuses on courses such as solid mechanics (i.e. mechanics of materials), thermodynamics, electrical circuits, mechanical vibrations, control systems, heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics, and the like. I take a step-by-step pedagogical approach to break down difficult problems to smaller and easily digestible parts. This has been successful in ensuring that my students actually understand the problems we work through, instead of simply "plugging and chugging" numbers into formulas.
