About Amber
I am currently an English Lecturer at a local College. I teach Eduqas GCSE English Language, and have done for 5 years. Prior to this I was an English mentor, providing tutoring sessions to groups and individuals.
I have also marked for Eduqas, so I have an in-depth knowledge of the exam board and how to secure a high grade.
I have always tutored on top of my regular teaching and have experience tutoring in AQA English language also.

Each lesson will be tailored to your individual needs. Everything I do aims for inclusivity, productivity and to gain as many marks as we can from the most minimal amount of effort! I believe in making students' lives easier, so when I tutor, I very much tutor to pass the test, rather than all of the added fluff. I use a student-led approach, meaning you will have some control over what we do and cover, and you have autonomy over how much we complete (though I will take the reins when needed and push you to always do the very best you can).
I understand that learning is not linear, and I will support any additional needs you may have to make the learning experience as smooth as possible.
