About Mary
I'm a licensed educator with nearly 20 years of experience teaching students from kindergarten through graduate school, with degrees from Vanderbilt University and Michigan State University.
I believe every student can reach their goals, and I've learned that one of the most powerful interventions is a supportive relationship with someone who believes in them. We all learn differently, and I believe we can all find the path to success, which is why no one should ever give up on themselves.
My goal is to create a positive, encouraging environment where students gain not only academic skills, but also the confidence to keep growing long after our lessons are over.

I believe every student can succeed with the right support. My goal is to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence.
Each lesson is personalized to the student's goals and learning style. We begin with a quick review, focus on the skills that need the most attention, practice together, and finish with a plan for continued success.
As a licensed Intervention Specialist, I have experience supporting students with IEPs, 504 Plans, ADHD, executive functioning challenges, anxiety, autism, and other learning differences. I specialize in breaking difficult concepts into manageable steps while helping students become more independent and confident learners.
I work with middle school, high school, college, and adult learners, including students preparing for exams, credit recovery, study skills, and those who simply need extra support to reach their goals.
