About Greg
I have been teaching math in the classroom for my entire professional career, and I also spent a year as a math department head in a high school. It brings me so much fulfilment in my career when I can take students who feel incapable and help them discover that they can do it! I take great pride in taking difficult math concepts and breaking them down into bite-sized, easy to understand steps. With tutoring, we will go at the speed of the student, I won't blaze forward until we are both confident you're ready for it.

I really enjoy getting to know my students in order to understand their needs and learning styles. A typical lesson plan will involve review of previously learned concepts, questions from the students' school subjects, and some examples worked through together. I will use a range of technologies during the lessons, and will refer students to other helpful resources/videos/tutorials that can help them master the concepts! My lessons will be designed for grades 7-12 math students.
