About Ximena
I am an education student at FIU. I will be graduating with my Bachelor's degree in August, 2018. As an Elementary degree seeking students, I have been able to work in various elementary schools around Miami assisting students in Reading, math, ESOL, Science, history, and language arts. My subject of preference is math, but my goal is to have students learn the material and succeed in school.

Since I have had the opportunity to work one on one with students, I like to get to know my students first and learn how each student retains information best. I like to evaluate the student's comprehension on the subject they are being tutored in, and tailor my tutoring to their needs. I make my lessons interesting, engaging, and hands on. My goal is always for the student to learn, engage, and understand the material, so they can excel in school.

The rate may change depending on the travel areas. I am willing to go to your house for tutoring, but the rate for travel will depend on the distance. I am pretty lenient and willing to work with you in terms of pricing for travel. If you must cancel a lesson, please do so with enough time in advance.
