About Andreas

I am born and raised in Norway and norwegian is my mother tounge. I also speak english fluently.

I am an educated teacher in mathematics. I prefer to teach the mathematics courses at secondary school. I can also teach more difficult subjects by arrangement. This means teaching at university level after agreement. In this case the prices will be a bit higher. I have worked several schools in Norway as a teacher. Mostly in gymnasium (A levels) and also at University of Agder as a Student Assistant in Calculus 1 in autumn 2020. I have often received feedback that i explain things easy and well. I try to make the mathematics practical and easy to understand. I often use images and practical situation as example for the student to be able to relate the world to the mathematics.

About the lesson

I have good experience of working one to one with students. In the vast majority of cases, the students come with an assignment or a topic they want help with and I help them with the assignments step by step. I make sure that the students understand what is elementary before we move on.

I always like the student to send me the task they want help with before we meet so i can plan my explanation well.

I do only teach online and i offer the student a test teaching before they make any decision of paying for a package of school hours. One school hour is during 45 minutes.

Perfect! Vår datter har hatt en del hull i undervisningen pga sykdom og det gir særlig utslag i matte siden det bygger på tidligere kompetanse og er vansklig å ta igjen i ettertid. Å ha Andreas om ekstralærer i 2S er derfor gull verd nå inn mot avsluttende eksamen.
Hun synes han er flink til å lære bort og systematisk i oppbyggingen av undervisningen.

Kjente ikke Andreas fra før, fant ham tilfeldig på Superprof. Har spurt Andreas om å undervise i noe som kanskje er litt utenfor hans normale undervisning, altså universitetsnivå. Etter første møte vil jeg si at han har opptrådt profesjonelt og saklig, vært veldig klar og var godt forberedt.

Kan godt anbefale ham til andre om du trenger noen som stiller godt forberedt og er villig til å legge en plan videre.
