About George
I’m in my first year at university studying economics, having just received my A level results. I achieved an A* in economics, and As in both Maths and Chemistry. Throughout school, I’ve always enjoyed explaining concepts and teaching other students. After peers told me that I explain things well, and could genuinely help people understand, I started to believe tutoring could be something worth pursuing.
Outside of school, I’m a big football fan, and enjoy playing sports. I enjoy socialising and connecting with people, and as part of my love for football, I decided to become an FA qualified referee in January 2024. Since then, (alongside studying and actually playing football) I’ve officiated over 40 youth football matches. I have a valid enhanced DBS check and safeguarding children qualification to go with my 2+ years of working with youth footballers every Sunday.

George is a lovely young man. He made our son feel really at ease. He explains things very clearly and has helped raise Joe's grades, I can't recommend him highly enough.
I was struggling with GCSE maths and wanted to move up from a 6 to an 8, so I asked George if he could help me out. George was brilliant, incredibly adaptable and able to explain things in a capable, understanding way that was personalised to my learning style instead of generic methods etc. I ended up getting a 9 and was over the moon, can’t thank you enough George!
