About Zara
I'm Zara, 17 years old, and studying for my A-levels. I can speak English and Urdu. All A-A*s in GCSEs with 2 years of experience in providing English Literature support through peer mentoring. Particularly hoping to provide help to other GCSE students. Focusing on making students comfortable and genuinely interested in my favorite subject through critical literature-style thinking and exam-style practice.

I'm looking for Year 9-11 students doing Edexcel iGCSEs who need help for upcoming exams.
English literature has always been my best subject, and my teaching style emphasizes being student-centered. I value getting to know my students to effectively help them, and overall I aim to provide clarification and material adapted for my individual student.
I teach using live annotations of classics, poems, and texts with flowcharts to explain concepts to students. I emphasize 1-on-1 conversation, exam-style questions, and looking at sample answers to really understand the mark scheme and what examiners want from students.
My past experiences with tutoring span across 2 years with students from years 7 to 11. I have mostly English Literature to a GCSE degree as well as pre-GCSEs
