About Karina
I am an economics student that is just about to graduate with a BSc in Economics.
For my A-levels I studied Maths, Economics and Graphic design- receiving A*A*A grades. During my first and second years at university I achieved a first-class grade, and I am predicted to receive a first in July (2020). During my third year at university I undertook a placement year at the HM Treasury as a Student Government Economist.
I love to teach and help others. During my final year of school (year 13) I helped three of my peers and tutored several students in the year below for both Maths and Economics A-levels. During my first year of university I continued to tutor (online) two students during their final year of their A-levels- they both received A's. During my final year of my degree I undertook a module where I was a teaching assistant for an A-level economics class.

My method of teaching will depend on the students, but I will generally teach according to how students should approach the exams that they are going to take rather than by going through everything.
There is always a method to how students should approach exams and before teaching students anything I will take them through this method step by step. This will help students gain the maximum marks possible in any exams they take.
I will then teach certain topics in line with how they can apply the knowledge to these exam questions. I will give a strong preference to spending time teaching topics that will often come up as essay questions and topics that require a lot of analysis, and spending less time on topics where students must generally just learn the facts.
