About Isabella

Hi, I’m an Economics undergraduate at the University of Exeter, offering GCSE Maths and Chemistry tutoring. I studied both subjects at A Level, achieving strong results and developing a deep understanding of the key concepts students need to succeed.

I’m passionate about helping others learn and believe that with the right guidance, every student can make real progress and grow in confidence. Online GCSE Maths & Chemistry Tutoring — Personalised, Clear, and Confidence-Building

I'm an Economics undergraduate at the University of Exeter, with A Levels in Maths and Chemistry. I offer GCSE tutoring in both subjects for students aged 13–16, whether you're aiming to strengthen your foundations, boost exam technique, or push for top grades.

My Approach:
I focus on building strong core understanding and confidence through a step-by-step, supportive teaching style. I tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs, identifying weak spots early and explaining concepts in a way that sticks. I use active recall, exam-style questions, and visual aids to keep sessions engaging and focused on progress.

Teaching Style & Structure:

Lessons typically last 50 minutes
Each session includes a mix of concept review, guided practice, and past paper questions.
I provide optional short tasks between lessons to reinforce learning.

Strong academic background: 9s in GCSE Maths, English Lit, English Lang, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. A Levels in Maths and Chemistry (achieved A in both) , now studying Economics with continued use of quantitative skills
Experience mentoring younger students and explaining difficult concepts in a relatable way. Tutored A Level Economics and have taught at Summer Schools for 5 years.
