About Everett
My interest in economics began with curiosity about how societies allocate resources, respond to incentives, and address challenges through policy and market mechanisms. This led me to pursue a B.A in Economics followed by an M.Sc in Development Economics, providing a robust foundation in theory, statistical analysis, and applied problem-solving. Over 11 years, I have helped students understand complex economic systems, analyze data critically, and gain confidence in approaching real-world economic problems.
I employ a teaching approach that combines explanation, practical application, and interaction. Lessons include step-by-step analysis of concepts, data interpretation exercises, case studies, and discussions on current economic trends. I encourage students to think independently, explore alternative approaches, and develop analytical reasoning, fostering not only mastery of concepts but also intellectual curiosity.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with economic research, policy developments, and global financial trends. Witnessing students evolve from uncertainty to clarity, critically evaluate economic situations, and develop confidence in problem-solving is deeply rewarding. My mission is to nurture learners who are both proficient and confident in applying economics to academic, professional, and everyday contexts.
