About Aiman

In 2024, I successfully graduated with First Class Honors from the London School of Economics and Political Science for BSc in Economics. For my A-Levels, I scored 4A* (Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Economics). A combination of useful study methods, rigorous hours of revision and a passion for the knowledge learned, I hope to pass these onto the next batch of students.

With over 2 years of tutoring experience for students in SPM up to university, combined with many years of teaching/coaching debate to high school students, I believe I have the communication skills and economic knowledge to effectively conduct personalised tuition classes.

I mainly focus on CIE A Level Economics, but I have taught students other levels too such as IGCSEs, First Year Economics Modules in UK Universities etc. If you're unsure whether I can teach the course you have, feel free to reach out and we can take it from there. Thank you!

About the lesson

My classes range from 1 to 2 hours. Before the first session, I will discuss the goals and struggles of the student so I can tailor the sessions for them. Feedback is very important after each class so we know how to adjust the classes even better moving forward. I don't teach a lot of students so I can focus more on each student. No group classes (case by case basis), I prefer individual or classes of two.

Perfect! Aiman is a very smart and effective teacher who teaches in a clear and structured way. He explains concepts without overcomplicating them, which really helped me understand Economics better.I used to struggle a lot with writing Economics essays, but after having tuition with him, my essay skills improved significantly and writing essays no longer feels as difficult. He is also very approachable and easy to talk to, so lessons are always comfortable and stress-free. Whenever I had deeper questions, he made sure I understood the reasoning clearly.

Details

Note that the hourly fee is a base price. It can be adjusted based on complexity of subject matter, ability of students, timeline/urgency etc.

For university classes, the base price is RM150/hour. This is to account for the additional prep work to familiarise myself with new university courses/modules for the classes.
