About Josh
I am an ambitious person and am passionate about improving my students mathematical ability. I want them to fully engage with the session so strive to make them as interesting as possible. With maths I believe it is so important to make sure the key concepts are fully understood as opposed to simply understanding how to answer the question so I will ensure any topics of uncertainty are covered in great detail

I am very aware that each student different and therefore very much try to tailor my sessions around their preferences. I definitely do no operate under the "one size fits all" mantra. My sessions are for those in year 10/11 (or younger) hoping to achieve the best GCSE grades they can. I have previous experience teaching this age group as I worked as a tutor for my secondary school. Whilst I have more substantial experience working with those who are perhaps struggling slightly to grasp the key concepts, I achieved a grade 8 at my GCSE and went on to study maths at A level so I am more than equipped to work with those students who are pushing for the top marks. Session length will range from 1- 2 hours
