About Siena
Hi! I am a current college student with an intended major in Economics. I graduated high school with a 3.96 unweighted GPA, and a score of 4 in AP Calculus (AB). I earned an A+ in MATH31AL (Differential and Integral Calculus) at UCLA, and am involved with a microfinance business club as a project consultant (basically an advisor for a small businesses).
My career goals at the moment fall between business law or finance. Wherever I end up, I hope to continue helping people in any way I could.
I have 4+ years of experience working with children and young adults, both in academic tutoring and tennis coaching.

My teaching method goes beyond doing the steps to solve problems. I use examples to explain the intuition behind mathematical operations, and ensure that all your questions are welcome and gladly answered.
My knowledge is suitable for teaching middle-school level algebra to high school precalculus.
A typical lesson focuses on the examples you may need help understanding. We will walk though each problem step-by-step, and go through similar exam-like questions if time permits.
