About Clara
I have a passion for Maths and Science, I hope to help other students engage better with these subjects to them achieve top grades at school. Having recently done both GCSE’s, where I achieved all grade 9’s, and A-Level’s, achieving A*/A’s, I am very familiar with the school system and what students must to to be able to achieve those top grades. I wish to guide them and give them advise they can then implement to their other subjects at school, as well as personalising my lessons to what each student struggles with the most so together we can tackle each problem. I aim to give students more confidence in order for them to be able to solve different challenges alone to prepare for exams.

Having tutored all age groups in the last years, both in groups and one to one I feel as though I have learnt to engage with different students preferences and provide the best atmosphere for them to learn and understand each topic. Throughout my years studying I have developed different tactics and ways to aid the learning process, and I hope I can help other students to preform their best during exams.
I like to explain the topic which my students find challenging first but I firmly believe doing lots of question together is extremely important to make sure the students fully grasp the concepts. Exam style questions, once they do understand, also helps get them ready and more comfortable for when they do have to preform in exams. My main aim is to provide a space where the students feel comfortable to ask me questions and really engage with what I explain in order to get the most out of my teaching.
