About MARJORIE SOFÍA
I have experience teaching English to international exchange students at my university as a buddy, which helped me develop strong communication skills and a supportive teaching style. I enjoy helping students gain confidence and feel comfortable learning in a new language. As an economics student with a solid academic background, I am committed, patient, and professional in every lesson. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated and supported.

My teaching approach is patient, clear, and adapted to each student’s learning style. I focus on building strong foundations before moving to more complex topics, using simple explanations, examples, and guided practice.
A typical lesson includes a short review, explanation of new concepts, worked examples, and exercises where I support the student step by step. I also provide feedback and study tips to help students improve outside class.
What sets me apart is my ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple and friendly way, especially in both Spanish and mathematics, and my strong academic background in economics and university-level math.
My lessons are for middle school and high school students, beginners and intermediate Spanish learners, and anyone who wants clear, structured, and supportive learning.
