About Andrew

I am an economics student from Northern Ireland, at A level received AAB, in GCSE I received 10 A*-A. I study at Loughborough university and am now in my final year. I have worked for a year in PwC and taken investment banking Internships therefore have working knowledge of the business word and how economics plays a part in day to day roles.

About the lesson

My teaching method would be a topic by topic basis, based off how many lessons the student would book and depending on what aspect they are interested in. I have been taught GCSE and A level Business Studies, which covers a wide range of basic understanding that young students would need for their exams. This, coupled with specific university modules, allows me to give an in-depth and detailed lesson, and the ability to answer any further learning questions if students had a genuine interest in the topic. I would be able to breakdown Economics lessons into Micro and Macro for shorter basic lessons, or depending on the students interest could spend the lessons going into Financial Economics, Behavioural Economics and Quantitative Economics for example. As for Management, again it would be broken into what the student is specifically looking for. As I am an Economics with Management university student, I have partaken in over a dozen management modules, including Business Phycology, Project Management, Strategic Management, Human Resource Management etc. Therefore I could either give a very broad teaching on management, or delve into more specific modules. Finally for Maths I would be able to teach GCSE standard and relevant mathematics needed to adapt into economics at a university standard. Each lesson I would teach would have time for feedback and interactive questions, furthermore if there was a group teaching of lessons I would arrange the teaching in such a way after a module was taught and understood practice papers and work through example would be incorporated to track the students progress.
