About Oliver
I am an economics student in my first year at the London School of Economics and Political Science. I have been tutoring friends and younger years in school during my time in the Sixth Form and during my GCSE studies. My personal qualifications are A* grades in both GCSE mathematics and further mathematics as well as A*s in chemistry and physics in addition to the 42 points I achieved in my International Baccalaureate, which includes 777 in HL Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

My teaching methodology is one of inspiring confidence for students to complete problems by themselves. A typical lesson begins with an explanation of the concept the student is studying in that particular session. We will then approach some basic problems together until the student has grasped the overarching concept they are studying, Following this we will move into examining the finer aspects of the topic again through practical questions, this time with the emphasis more on the student to attempt them. This helps show their true areas of understanding and their areas of weakness, which can then be worked on at a later date, encouraging the student to take the initiative also fosters their self confidence in their abilities and understanding over their subject, a key element to exam success.
