About Andrew
I did my undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado in Political Science and Economics , followed by a PhD at West Virginia University in Economics. I have been tutoring for over ten years. I enjoy tutoring multiple subjects so that i frequently tutor students across several years.
Outside of tutoring I follow sports, movies and am an avid reader both fiction and non-fiction.

Each tutoring session is tailored to the individual student. Learning is fun! I am passionate about that and do my best to impart not just the skills needed but also the joy of learning to students. I teach broad test taking strategies applicable to multiple subjects. I also focus on where the student has questions and help them turn a weakness into a strength. Additionally I work with students on time management skills to facilitate getting work done outside of tutoring time. Time is split up between theoretical discussion of a specific topic and practical application.
