About Miles
My interest in economics developed from curiosity about how policies and markets shape societies. I earned a B.A. in Economics and later an M.A. in Applied Economics, focusing on data interpretation and policy analysis. With 9 years of teaching experience, I have helped students build strong analytical foundations. I believe in structured, supportive teaching that encourages independent thought. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace and goals, using examples and discussion to deepen understanding. I encourage questioning and logical evaluation. Outside teaching, I stay updated with global economic trends and research. This helps me keep lessons relevant and practical. Teaching economics is rewarding because students gain confidence in understanding complex systems and making informed decisions.

Economics becomes clearer when students connect theory to everyday decision-making. My lessons cover microeconomics, macroeconomics, markets, incentives, and policy analysis through structured explanation and real-world examples. I emphasize logical reasoning and graphical interpretation to help students understand how economic systems function. Concepts are introduced step by step to ensure strong foundations.
Lesson content is adapted to learning level. Beginners focus on basic concepts like scarcity, demand, and opportunity cost. Intermediate learners work on elasticity, market structures, and numerical problem-solving. Advanced students refine policy evaluation, analytical writing, and exam strategy. Regular practice and discussion help reinforce confidence and clarity.
Economics lessons develop critical thinking and informed judgment. Students learn to analyze choices, outcomes, and societal impact. My goal is to help learners confidently interpret economic issues and apply structured reasoning to real-world challenges.
