About Bennett
My interest in economics developed from observing how economic choices influence opportunities and outcomes across communities. This curiosity led me to pursue an M.Sc in Development Economics, where I studied economic theory, policy design, and real-world data analysis in depth. Over the past 10 years, I have guided students through complex economic ideas by presenting them in a clear, supportive, and structured manner. I believe effective economics teaching requires patience and relevance. I focus on explaining concepts using relatable examples and current events, helping students connect abstract theory to real situations. I encourage discussion, questioning, and critical thinking so learners feel confident forming and expressing their own perspectives. Outside teaching, I stay engaged with economics through policy research, economic publications, and global development studies. These interests enrich my lessons and help me provide up-to-date insights. Teaching economics is fulfilling because I see students grow into confident thinkers who understand how economic systems affect their lives and future choices.

Economics lessons are structured to help students clearly understand how economic ideas influence individuals, businesses, and entire societies. I guide learners through microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts such as consumer behavior, production decisions, inflation, unemployment, government policy, and global trade using practical examples drawn from real life. Lessons focus on building logical connections between theory and reality so students can interpret economic situations with confidence and clarity.
Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s academic level and learning pace. Beginners focus on core concepts, terminology, graphs, and simple explanations that build strong foundations. Intermediate learners explore deeper analysis, data interpretation, case studies, and structured written responses. Advanced learners refine evaluation skills, essay planning, policy discussion, and exam-oriented strategies. Throughout every lesson, I emphasize clarity of thought, structured reasoning, and confidence in expression.
Beyond exams, economics lessons help students develop informed perspectives on everyday decisions and global events. Learners become more analytical, thoughtful, and aware of how economic forces shape the world around them. Many students gain confidence expressing opinions supported by evidence and reasoning. My goal is to help learners see economics as a powerful tool for understanding society, not just an academic subject.
