I find that applying what you’re learning to real-life situations through storytelling is most beneficial to those like me who like to visualize what they are learning. Trouble with fractions? Slice up an apple pie among friends. Stumped by integrals? Let’s see how many boxes fit under this bridge. Just don’t get algebra? Let’s think about Michael Jordan’s average points per game. There’s a way to explain even the hardest and most abstract mathematical principles so that anyone can understand.

I can work with your child at your house or remotely.Hello, I’ve always been good at math. It comes to me easily. I took college level calculus in high school as well as advanced computer science classes. In college while studying economics, I took other calculus classes, statistics, physics, and other computer science classes. My math adverse friends send their children to me or have them call me over Zoom from states away to have me explain the Pythagorean theorem or the transitive property. I feel super proud every time I get the sense that it finally clicks in their head.
