About Joe
I am a 24 year old economics and finance student, I have achieved an A* grade in A-Level mathematics, and high grades in mathematics based university modules. I have a passion for mathematics and have been tutoring maths throughout the past year at GCSE level and I am looking to increase my number of clients, and I am comfortable teaching up to A-Level standard. My topics of expertise include mathematics at C1, C2, C3, C4, S1 (statistics) and M1 (mechanics) level.

The lessons I teach are entirely pupil orientated, beginning the lessons by asking if there is anything that the student has been going through at school/college that they find difficult or want any extra support in. If there is nothing in particular the student would like to go over, I will go through some questions from an exam paper - I believe that going through exam questions is the most useful resource. In my personal experience I went through hundreds of exam questions while studying for my A-Level, and I believe this heavily contributed to me earning my high grade. The lessons are geared towards students aiming to improve their mathematics ability specifically in terms of their exam technique. I could assign extra work for students to complete throughout the week, if requested.
