About Matthew
I am providing this tutoring service out of a desire to help students reach their academic goals and to inspire learning techniques that will stay with them for life. Through my academic experience as a high school and current college student, I hope to provide the same learning techniques that made learning easy for me.

I take a problem-based approach to teaching students new concepts. A problem-based approach walks students through the problems they are attempting. It then shows them specifically how to think through the question using problem solving techniques. Three things that I teach my students are 1) An understanding what the question is asking 2) A method to figure out the first step to solve the problem 3) A genuine knowledge of why the answer is correct.
