About Ehinosen
My name is Ehinosen, and I am a dedicated and compassionate tutor committed to helping students feel confident, capable, and supported in their learning journey. I studied Finance at the University of Ottawa, which strengthened my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills—both of which I bring into my Math and English tutoring.
I hold an Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA) certificate, reflecting my commitment to maintaining high standards when working with children and creating a structured, supportive learning environment. I am also CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring safety and preparedness at all times.
Beyond academics, I have volunteered with Kids Help Phone, where I provided support to children facing emotional and mental health challenges. This experience has strengthened my patience, empathy, and ability to connect with young learners in a meaningful and respectful way.
I am also an avid reader, which enhances my ability to support students in English, especially in reading comprehension, vocabulary, and writing skills. My goal is to not only help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and encourage a genuine love for learning.

Teaching Approach
I use a personalized, student-centered method, adapting to each child’s learning style. In Math, I simplify concepts with step-by-step guidance and real-life examples. In English, I build reading, writing, and comprehension skills through creative activities and discussion.
My lessons are designed for elementary and middle school students who need help catching up, staying on track, or getting ahead in Math and English.
Each session includes a quick review, introduction of a new concept, guided practice, independent work, and a short recap to reinforce learning.
I create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable and motivated. I hold an ECEA certificate and am CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring both professionalism and safety.
