As a dedicated guitarist with years of consistent playing and hands-on experience, I bring a professional, personalized approach to every lesson. I understand how intimidating learning guitar can feel at first, which is why I focus on building both skill and confidence from day one. Although I’m not a performer or classroom teacher by trade, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the instrument through disciplined practice, real-world application, and the patience gained from teaching my own children (ages 5 and 6) how to play. These experiences have taught me how to break down concepts clearly and tailor each lesson to fit the unique pace and goals of every student. With a strong foundation in classic rock, blues, and country, and a passion for helping others discover their own musical voice, I offer structured yet flexible lessons backed by professionalism, encouragement, and a genuine love for teaching. I specialize in beginner-friendly lessons that meet you where you’re at, whether you’ve never picked up a guitar or you’re trying to get back into it. I’ve taught (and continue to teach) my own two young kids to play guitar, so I know how to keep things clear, simple, and encouraging — no pressure, just progress.
I’ll tailor every lesson to your interests, whether you want to play classic rock riffs, bluesy licks, a little country twang, or just jam along to your favorite songs. If you’re not sure what you like yet, we’ll explore different sounds until you find your groove.
